Nilbog’s Free Agency uses a continuous waiver system in which teams bid funds from their Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB) to obtain new players. Please see below for highlights.
Once a player’s game starts, he will remain on waivers until Wednesday, at 3:00 AM EST.
While a player is on waivers, teams may blind bid for him using their available FAAB. Once the initial waiver period is over Wednesday morning, the highest bidding team will have the player added to their roster, and their bid amount removed from their FAAB.
After Wednesday, waivers process again each day at 3:00 AM EST. Once a player’s game starts, the waiver period resets to the next Wednesday.
Free Agent Acquisition Budget
At the end of each season, a marginal tax will be levied on FAAB above $100. Tax information can be found in the section below.
After taxes, an additional $100 in FAAB will be provided.
This budget will roll over to the next season as your new starting FAAB budget for the year.
