Consolation Bracket
The consolation bracket acts similarly to the regular playoff bracket, and is open to every non-playoff team except the worst in each conference.
The consolation bracket will be playing for the #1 pick in the next year’s draft. However, even after a team is eliminated from the bracket, they will still play in a loser’s bracket in which they can obtain a better draft position.
