It’s finally here: a full, “simplified” list of every GM’s trades over the course of the 2022 season. The 2022 season officially began nine months ago on March 22, 2022; and trading ended on November 22, 2022.
If a player was both sent and received by a GM in separate trades, they are removed from that GM’s trade chart. Of course, if they were sent, received, and sent again, they would appear only once under the Sent side. And vice-versa.
Under each trade chart is an aggregated estimate of how much value in assets a GM gained or lost. These values are compiled from sources such as the Nilbog trade values, Fantasy Pros, KeepTradeCut, and TheAthletic. Keep in mind these values are calculated without context, but no trade is made in a vacuum. A GM may make a trade that loses value on paper because of positional need; team intention (rebuild pieces or win now pieces); or personal preference.
When a 2022 draft pick is listed, the player who was selected is listed with it. I considered listing the best possible choice at that pick (to show the upper-limit value of the pick), but ultimately decided it was more material to show who a GM ultimately selected.
For future picks, the team who the pick belongs to is listed. If no team is listed, that means the pick belongs to the GM in question.
